Good Day. After sending you a mail requesting confirmation from the Bahraini consulate that I do not need a Visa for Bahrain if I stay on the boat (in Bahrain), I now (a few minutes ago) received an email (in German) from the cruise organizer E-Hoi that the shipping company MSC confirmed that BOTH my wife and I do not need Visum`s if we do not disembark (leave the boat in Bahrain). We would have peace of mind and be very greatful if this is also being confirmed by your Consulate. Thank you very much.

Good Day. I phoned this morning to find out if my wife (South African - Residence Permit in Liechtenstein) and myself (Liechtensteiner) require Visa`s for Bahrain even though we are not disembarking the boat in BAHRAIN (Trip: MSC round trip, 8 MARCH 2025: Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi back to Dubai). We are staying on the boat in Bahrain and I was informed by a member of your staff that we do not need to apply for Visa`s when we stay on the boat in Bahrain. However, I contacted MSC (our Booking No. 58901868) and was informed that my wife needs a visa even if she stays on the boat and myself only needs a Visa when I enter Bahrain. My wife is therefore applying an E-Visa and I would appreciate that the consulate confirms what MSC stated "that I do not require a visa, only upon entering Bahrain". We want to be fully prepared and have a smooth travel without any complications, therefore it`s very importants for us to have all required documentations needed for this journey.
